Paneer, a kind of cheese, a South Asian cuisine, is an unaged cheese made by churning milk with vinegar, lemon juice or other acids.
  
- It is a dish of seasoned, strained or diluted yogurt, eaten throughout the former Ottoman countries.
- It is similar to tarator in Balkan cuisine.
